PureEnergy Solutions Announces Furniture-Embedded Wire-Free Charging at 2010 CES

Solution provides a unique, totally new wire-free charging experience for consumers ; Company to also announce first in-vehicle charging pad among other new products

(Boulder, Colo. – Jan. 7, 2010) – PureEnergy Solutions, Inc. the leader in wire-free power with its WildCharge™ technology, is announcing at CES a series of elegant, wire-free charging solutions, including one which can be embedded in furniture and other infrastructure. Consumers will be able to power up all of their mobile devices, wire-free, by simply setting them on a surface that has been embedded with the new WildCharge Grommet.  The WildCharge Grommet is designed to fit into a standard-sized furniture grommet hole that already exists in most desks and work surfaces. The Grommet supports a wide variety of WildCharge-enabled devices, including cell phones, MP3 players, netbook and notebook computers.  The first go-to-market partner that will embed the WildCharge Grommet in their furniture is Kimball® Office.

The WildCharge Grommet is a wire-free charging solution designed to be installed into a grommet cut-out that is readily available in today’s standard office furniture.  “This is a truly unique offering and we are so excited to launch this concept with PureEnergy,” said Jeff Fenwick, vice president and general manager of Kimball Office. “This product has been a long time coming for both of our companies and we know our end users are going to find this feature in our furniture to be innovative, and cutting edge.”  Attendees of CES will be able to experience the product in action, as it will be installed in Hum Minds at Work, an innovative desking solution created for workspaces needing collaboration, concentration, and everything in between.

PureEnergy Solutions will also be showing many other new products at CES that add to the company’s growing line-up of wire-free charging OEM reference designs. Two of the products are CES Innovations Award Honorees. The winning products will be featured at CES this year at both the Pepcom Mobile Focus press event and at the main exhibit:

• PureEnergy High Powered WildCharge Pad – This high-power pad simultaneously delivers wire-free power to multiple devices including notebook and netbook computers, cell phones, MP3 players and more.

• Portable In-Vehicle WildCharge Pad – This first-ever WildCharge Pad features a built-in rechargeable battery for portable operation and is also available with a vehicle mount enabling an in-vehicle WildCharge experience.  The portable, convertible pad provides wire-free power to WildCharge-enabled devices, and its built-in battery can be re-charged from another WildCharge pad, standard USB, or from a wall outlet (AC).

• A new version of the popular WildCharge Pad – A 90 watt small form factor travel pad that can be used for notebook and netbook computers, as well as low-power mobile devices.
• WildCharge Pad Color Options – WildCharge will show pads in a variety of color combinations, including a contemporary all-black pad and a variety of other colors.

• WildCharge Back Covers for Mobile Phones – Following in the footsteps of PureEnergy’s first WildCharge Adapter for the Motorola RAZR, WildCharge will introduce elegant replacement back covers for the popular HTC Magic and Palm Pre cell phones.

• WildCharge hard-cases – PureEnergy is introducing its first hard-case adapter, designed for Apple’s iPhone.

• WildCharge Skins for the Blackberry Tour and Bold 9000 — These new skins add to the already existing portfolio of WildCharge skins including the Blackberry Curve 8900, 8300, 8350i, Pearl, iPhone and iPod touch.
