Safety Standards
Rechargeable alkaline cells made by PureEnergy Solutions meets the requirements of the electrical abuse tests as described in the IEC 86-1 International Standard for Primary Batteries. These tests include “forced current reversal”, “overdischarge” and “short circuit”. In each case, the hazard is the explosion of cells due to internal pressure build-up. In this situation, the safety vents of PureEnergy’s cell design rupture, allowing safe relief of the pressure before explosion, decrimping or ejection of cell parts.
Safe Investment
RAMcell™ rechargeable batteries are among most economical batteries in the world. Patented technology gives these batteries the capacity to be charged hundreds of times, and they can carry their charge for years. As a added benefit, RAMcell™ batteries are pre-charged, have high initial capacity and stability at high temperatures.
Safe for the Environment
RAMcell™ Rechargeable Alkaline Manganese Dioxide batteries are among the most environmentally responsible batteries in the world. Using these batteries can reduce green house gases by up to 90% over single use alkaline batteries, and reduce waste to landfills by up to 95% compared to single use alkaline batteries.
Safe to Handle and Dispose
RAMcell™ technology delivers the only Mercury-free/non-toxic rechargeable batteries in the world. These batteries can even be composted because they contain no heavy metals.
Pure Energy is the only battery company in North America to be designated with the Eco Logo certification – a certification of environmentally preferable products.
